Hamlin holds more than 30 years of senior management, military operations and command and control systems experience. He retired as a U.S. Navy flag officer after completing an extensive tour of duty as Director of Operations for all of U.S. European Command at the end of 2005, and joined Sentek Consulting soon afterwards. As Director of Operations, Hamlin advised and directed all operational issues that pertained to the command’s area of operations, which included Eastern and Western Europe as well as most of the African continent.

Hamlin also served as a Navy Flight Officer, commanding Carrier Battle Group One (CVBG 1), Tactical Training Group Atlantic, and Carrier Air Wing Fourteen (CVW 14) embarked aboard the USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70).  He also previously commanded Fighter Squadron One Forty-Two (VF-142) and served as Air Wing Operations Officer for Carrier Air Wing Three. Ham was also an instructor at the Navy Fighter Weapons School (Top Gun) and the West Coast F-14 Fleet Replacement Squadron (VF-124).

Hamlin received his MPA from George Washington University and his Bachelor of Science at Southwest Missouri State.
